RALEIGH, N.C., Oct. 23, 2010 -- James Madison divers won both the one-meter and three-meter dives to sweep a diving-only event over North Carolina State and Davidson at the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center in Raleigh, N.C. on Saturday.
Senior Jessie Everett (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) won the one-meter event with a score of 307.95.  She finished fifth in the three-meter dive.  On Friday, Everett won both diving events in the Dukes' double-dual meet against Richmond and Duquesne.
Junior Nicole Jotso (Suffern, N.Y./Suffern) scored a 302.9 to win the three-meter dive and took third in the one-meter with a 278.35.  Sophomore Kimberly Helfrich (Fort Belvoir, Va./West Springfield) finished third in the three-meter and fifth in the one-meter dive.
The diving Dukes return to the pool on Nov. 6-7, as JMU will host Old Dominion, William and Mary, Northeastern and the College of Charleston in the Colonial Atheltic Association POD Meet.
