Both teams opened CAA play with victories as JMU defeated Hofstra 55-42 and Northeastern won at Towson 70-61.
Three Dukes reached double-figures in Friday's win: sophomore Kamiah Smalls (18 points), sophomore Lexie Barrier (13 points) and redshirt sophomore Kelly Koshuta (10 points).
Koshuta added a career-best 10 rebounds to secure the first double-double of her career.
Four Huskies scored in double-digits in their win against Towson: senior Claudia Ortiz (18 points), junior Gabby Giacone (15 points), junior Jess Genco (13 points) and sophomore Shannon Todd (12 points).
The Huskies haven't played at home in six weeks.
