Dukes Drop Road Contest To Northeastern

BOSTON, Mass.– With under a minute remaining, Northeastern scored to defeat James Madison 3-2. This snapped a four-game win streak the Dukes held against the Huskies.

Northeastern (7-9, 3-1) controlled the ball late in the game with a 20-9 shot advantage over the Dukes (5-10, 1-3). The Huskies took six penalty corners in the game, while the Dukes were not awarded any.

- This was the sixth game this season JMU took under 10 shots
- This marked the second straight game decided by a goal in the final two minutes
