James Madison welcomes the St. John's to Harrisonburg for the last non-conference home matchup of the season on Friday, Dec. 21. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. in the Convocation Center.
Due to last second free throws made by Wake Forest, the Dukes dropped a 50-49 decision in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Monday. Junior guard Lexie Barrier led the Dukes' offense with 14 points, while junior Kamiah Smalls and redshirt junior Jackie Benitez tallied 12 apiece.
Senior Aneah Young and junior Devon Merritt both grabbed 10 boards in Monday's contest.
This is only the fourth meeting between the programs, and the Red Storm holds the all-time series record, 2-1. The Dukes traveled to Queens, N.Y. on Dec. 9 last season and lost 81-64 in Carnesecca Arena.
The Red Storm and the Dukes have both faced Delaware State and Wake Forest this season.
St. John's is coming off a big 83-57 victory over La Salle on Dec. 15. Senior guard Akina Wellere dropped a game-high 21 points, while three other players had double-digit scoring performances: junior Alisha Kebbe (19), sophomores Qadashah Hoppie (16) and Kayla Charles (12). Redshirt sophomore Tiana Englad had 11 assists to add to her seven points.
