MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- James Madison diving completed the last day of the NCAA Zone A Championships , on Mar. 10, to close out their phenomenal season.
Four JMU divers competed in the 3-meter event in a pool of 56 participants at the NCAA Zones. Senior

Faith Anderson finished in the top-18 to qualify for the finals in the event. Byrum placed fifth in the preliminaries with a score of 289.85, and Anderson finished with a score of 281.45 to place 12th. The two headed to the finals to compete for a spot in the top-six. Preliminary scores were added to final scores to determine the final standings. Anderson placed 13th with a final score of 552.60. Byrum placed seventh with a score of 579.75 and will be an alternate at the NCAA Championships in the 3-meter dive.
Sarah Stim finished 28th in preliminaries with a score of 253.70 to close out her junior season.
Emily Gross scored a 221.80 on the board to place 46th overall.
The JMU diving season comes to an end, but they had many successes throughout the season including five medals to contribute to the third consecutive Colonial Athletic Association championships.

"I am very proud of the girls' performances today," said Coach Wolsh, "The four [divers] battled on the board to stay in the competition. Hope [Byrum] has the chance to go to the NCAA Championships, but either way I am proud of the group and all they have accomplished this season."
