ANNAPOLIS, Md. – James Madison track & field saw three first-place finishes and seven all-time top 10 performances at the Navy Invite on Saturday at the Wesley A. Brown Field House.

Sinead Sargeant,
Sofia Terenziani and
Jordyn Henderson all finished first in their respective events while the Dukes totaled 10 top-three performances.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS
-In her first collegiate meet, rookie Henderson recorded JMU's first top finish of the day with her winning time of 8.69 in the 60m hurdles.
Skyla Davidson finished third in the event, clocking in at 8.83. Henderson's mark landed her at fourth in the Dukes' all-time top 10 while Davidson's time put her at ninth.
-In 1000m, Sargeant led the way with her time of 3:00.50 for first place.
Mary Milby followed close behind with her second-place mark of 3:04.26.
-Terenziani was the third Duke to win an event when she crossed the finish line at 10:23.06 in the 3000m.

Maddy Hesler and
Jessica Cantrell also had solid performances in the 3000m, finishing fifth and sixth, respectively.
-Freshman
Kaia Putman was another young Duke to see success in her first collegiate meet as she finished third in the 60m dash at 7.74.
-
Dardlie Lefevre finished third in the long jump when she tied her personal-best mark of 5.68m while also registering a fourth-place finish in the 200m dash (25.18).
-In the 400m, rookie
Sofia Lavreshina crossed the finish line at 56.60 to finish third in the event. She is now tied at sixth in JMU's all-time top 10 for the event.
-
Maggie Linton had a strong showing in the 500m with her sixth-place time of 1:18.50.
-In the high jump,
Bethany Biggi cleared the bar at 1.67m to record a second-place finish and rank seventh in the Dukes' all-time top 10.

Rachel Lloyd's 3.55m in the pole vault earned her sixth-place in the event and put her at fifth in the JMU's all-time top 10.
-
Jaiden Martellucci also registered a JMU top-10 performance with her sixth-place mark of 14.85m in the weight throw. She now ranks ninth in the Dukes' record book.
-The Dukes ended the day with a second-place finish in the 4x400m relay as the quartet of Lavreshina, Lefevre,
Arianna Eberly and
Holly Mpassy recorded a time of 3:48.79 to now rank eighth in JMU's all-time top 10 for the event.
