NEW ORLEANS – James Madison track & field received academic team recognition from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), as announced by the organization.

As a team, the Dukes were honored for their 3.23 grade-point average, highlighted by 16 student-athletes making the Dean's List (3.50 to 3.899), five on the President's List (3.90 or higher), with four achieving a perfect 4.0 for the Spring 2026 semester.

To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must post a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. Students must have completed at least two semesters or three quarters at the certifying institution and meet the athletic criteria during either the indoor season, the outdoor season, or both.
