The James Madison Dukes head to Charleston for their fourth-straight road game on Sunday, Jan. 23 at 2 p.m.
JMU arrives in Charleston following a 57-56 win over UNCW on Friday, Jan. 21 in Wilmington, N.C.
Annalicia Goodman scored the game-winner with 18 seconds left to play thanks to a beautiful pass from Jamia Hazell. Goodman ended the game with 12 points while Hazell dished out a season-best five assists.
Kiki Jeffersonled the Dukes with her impressive stat line of 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal.
On the glass,Jaylin Carodinecollected a team-best nine rebounds.
Jefferson leads the Dukes and ranks second in the conference in scoring with 18.3 points per game. The junior guard adds 7.6 boards per night.
Jefferson is currently 31 points away from surpassing the 1,000-point milestone.
Carodine is the Dukes' top rebounder and ranks second in the conference with 10.1 rebounds per game.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
Charleston welcomes to Dukes following an 88-72 win over Towson at home on Friday, Jan. 21.
Jenna Annecchiarico scored a program-best 36 points in the win while setting the program record for free-throws made in a single game as she went 18-of-19 from the line.
Arynn Eady ended the day with a double-double of 16 points and a game-high 17 rebounds.
CofC averages 79.4 points per game to lead the conference in scoring offense. In addition, they boast a conference-best scoring margin of +15.1.
The Cougars also lead the conference in steals (13.1 per game) while ranking second in assists (15.5 per game) and blocked shots (4.2 per game).
Charleston has four players averaging in double figures as Annecchiarico leads the Cougars with 15.1 points per game followed by Anika McGarity (13.3), Peyton Martin (12.7) and Grace Abercrombie (10.2).
Martin is also the leading rebounder for CofC, pulling down 10.2 boards per game to average a double-double.
Eady leads the conference with her 63.8 field goal percentage while McGarity leads the league behind the arc with a three-point percentage of 37.6%.

JMU leads 16-2 in the all-time series against the Cougars.
In the last meeting between the two programs, Charleston topped the Dukes 65-63 at TD Arena.
