The Dukes host UNCW at the Atlantic Union Bank Center on Sunday, Feb. 20 for a 2 p.m. start.
JMU enters Sunday's contest following a 71-69 loss to Charleston Friday at home. The Dukes were leading by 20 points early in the third quarter, but the Cougars outscored JMU 48-30 in the second half to come back and win the game.
Kiki Jefferson led the Dukes with 20 points while Jaylin Carodine notched her fourth double-double of the season with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
JMU set a new school record for most made free throws when shooting 100% from the line as the Dukes were a perfect 25-for-25 from the charity stripe.
Jefferson leads JMU in scoring with 18.8 points per night. Carodine in the top rebounder for the Dukes, pulling down 10.5 rebounds per game.
Annalicia Goodman leads JMU with her field goal percentage of 51.9%. She adds 7.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
JMU is currently shooting 37.9% from the floor, 26.8% from three-point range and 73.4% from the foul line.
SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
UNCW arrives in Harrisonburg following a 67-51 loss at Towson on Friday, Feb. 18. The Seahawks currently sit at last place in the conference with their record of 3-20 (0-13 CAA).
The Seahawks were led by Carrie Gross and Asia Henderson with 10 points apiece.
UNCW recently relieved five-year head coach of her duties on Monday, Feb. 14. Assistant Coach Tina Martin now serves as the Interim Head Coach and will do so for the remainder of the season.
UNCW has played the last two games without top scorer Sierra DaCosta, who averages 13.9 points per game. DaCosta hasn't played since Feb. 13 against William & Mary, where she netted 11 points.
Micah Hoggatt is the leading rebounder for the Seahawks, pulling down 6.1 boards per game.
The Seahawks are currently on a 13-game losing streak.
UNCW enters Sunday's game shooting 36.8% from the field, 31.0% from beyond the arc and 75.3% from the charity stripe.

JMU has won the last five meetings against the Seahawks.
Most recently, the Dukes topped UNCW 57-56 on Jan. 21 in Wilmington. Jefferson led JMU to victory with 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal.
