JMU Ends Weekend at Hofstra

THE DUKES

The Dukes travel to Hofstra for the final conference road game of the season on Sunday, Feb. 27 at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.
JMU arrives on Long Island following a 65-52 loss at Northeastern on Friday, Feb. 25. It is the first time that the Huskies have swept the season series against the Dukes.
James Madison recorded their lowest field goal percentage of the year while in Boston, shooting just 25.8% (16-62).
Steph Ouderkirk led the Dukes with 13 points as she was a perfect 3-for-3 from three-point land.
JMU is led by Kiki Jefferson with 18.5 points per game. She adds 7.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 0.7 blocks per outing. The junior guard has knocked down 152 foul shots to rank fourth in the country in made free throws.
Jaylin Carodine is the Dukes' leading rebounder with 10.5 boards per night.
JMU is currently shooting 38% from the field, 28.1% from three-point range and 72.7% from the charity stripe.

SCOUTING THE PRIDE

Hofstra enters Sunday's game with a mark of 6-7 (3-12 CAA). The Pride are coming off a 73-50 loss to Towson at home on Friday evening.
Jaylen Hines and Jaala Henry were the only players to score in double digits for Hofstra with 13 and 12, respectively.
Hines is the top scorer for the Pride, averaging 13.2 points per night. She is also the top rebounder with 7.4 boards per game.
Hofstra averages just 51.5 points per game while shooting 36.3% from the floor, 21.3% from beyond the arc and 64.5% from the foul line.

SERIES HISTORY

JMU leads 28-10 in the all-time series against the Pride.
The Dukes have won the last three meetings against Hofstra, including a 65-53 win over the Pride earlier this season on Jan. 28.
