Quoting Head Coach Delethea Quarles
"Today was filled with a lot of great performances that I'm really excited about. Our pole vaulters continued their momentum from last weekend with even better performances. Rachel [Lloyd] captured another victory, just missing her outdoor best, and Erica placed second with an ECAC qualifying mark was amazing today. I was also pleased to see the sprinters and hurdlers advance through the rounds and qualify for the finals tomorrow. Freshman
Asia Powell (best ever 60m - 7.54) and Team Captain
Jordyn Henderson (season-best 8.57) both fixing the execution of their races between rounds were showed great leadership. The distance crew stepped into heavy traffic but followed Coach
Rebekah Ricksecker's race plans and qualified for ECAC's in both the 4x800m and the DMR relays. The throwers closed our night with solid performances led by
Jaiden Martellucci's best weight toss ever. This is the direction we want to go with conference ahead in a few weeks."
