INDIANAPOLIS - Kendall Turner of the James Madison women's golf team has earned an at-large selection to the 2024 NCAA Bermuda Run Regional on May 6-8, as announced on the NCAA Selection Show on Wednesday afternoon.
Turner's selection marks her second consecutive at-large selection. She will compete at the Bermuda Run Golf Course in Winston-Salem, N.C., with 12 other teams and five other at-large individuals. Wake Forest, Texas, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State are the top four seeded teams in the regional.Â
The at-large selection is Turner's second straight bid after she competed in the NCAA Raleigh Regional May 8-10, 2023, where she tied for 37th. In 2023-24, the senior posted a 71.87 stroke average, breaking her school record for stroke average (72.76) for the third consecutive season. She has produced five top-five finishes this season and placed inside the top 15 in all but one tournament for the Dukes.
