DUKES HOST TOWSON ON TUESDAY
- James Madison is set to host the Towson Tigers on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. inside the Atlantic Union Bank Center in non-conference men's basketball action.
- JMU enters at 2-3 following a pair of road losses at Longwood and LIU last week. Towson is 3-1, most recently a 51-41 triumph over Norfolk State on Nov. 14.
- The matchup is the 60th all-time meeting between the two schools.

- Tuesday's game will stream on ESPN+ with Curt Dudley (PxP), Kirby Dean (analyst), and Cece Evans (sideline).
- The game will also be on the radio on WSVA 92.1 FM | 550 AM and the Varsity Network App, with coverage provided by Dave Riggert. Coverage will begin 30 minutes prior to tip inside the Atlantic Union Bank Center.
LAST TIME OUT
- LIU shot 59 percent from the floor and used 56 first-half points to defeat James Madison men's basketball, 88-79, on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Steinberg Wellness Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
- The Sharks sprinted to a 56-39 halftime lead following a 24-of-34 (.706) shooting performance in the opening 20 minutes.
- The lead grew to as many as 19 (68-49) with 13:06 remaining, but the Dukes battled back and got as close as six (83-77) with two minutes left.
- The Sharks were able to put the game away at the free throw line in the closing minute, hanging JMU its third road loss of the season.
- Bradley Douglas had 16 points to lead JMU in scoring, one of four Dukes to reach double figures. Along with Douglas, Cliff Davis (15), Gabe Newhof (13), and Justin McBride (10) all eclipsed 10 or more points.
- Malachi Davis and Jamal Fuller each scored 21 points to lead LIU in scoring. Fuller added eight rebounds and three assists, while Davis dished out eight helpers.
LAST TIME VS. TOWSON
- Towson and JMU met last season in Towson, Md., with the Tigers coming away with a 67-63 victory over the Dukes.
- Towson guard Dylan Williamson drained a three-pointer with 17 seconds left to give the Tigers a 65-60 lead. Williamson scored the final eight points for Towson, icing the game with a pair of free throws to finish with a game-high 22 points.
- The tandem of Mark Freeman (20) and Xavier Brown (16) combined for 36 points and eight assists, but the rest of the Dukes shot just 30 percent from the floor. Elijah Hutchins-Everett had a career-high four blocks.
SERIES HISTORY VS. TOWSON
- JMU and Towson have met 59 times, with Tuesday's matchup the 60th all-time meeting between the former CAA rivals.
- JMU holds a 37-22 lead in the all-time series, but have lost three straight to the Tigers.
- The Dukes are 22-6 against Towson at home at the Convocation Center and the Atlantic Union Bank Center. JMU is 1-1 against Towson at the AUBC, last falling 95-59 to the Tigers on Feb. 26, 2022.

- The Atlantic Union Bank Center has been the home of James Madison men's and women's basketball since the 2020-21 season.
- In that span, the JMU men are 59-16 (.786) at home and 22-5 (.814) against Sun Belt opponents.

- The Tigers are led by Pat Skerry, who is in his 15th year leading the Towson program.
- During Skerry's tenure, Towson has gone 238-211 (.530). The Tigers went 22-11 (16-2 CAA) last season, winning the CAA regular-season championship before falling to No. 12 seed Delaware in the conference tournament.
