JMU Announces Promotional Schedule for 2025 Field Hockey Season

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Athletics announced its full promotional schedule for the 2025 field hockey season. The Dukes will host seven regular-season games at the JMU Field Hockey Complex in the program's second season as an affiliate member of the Mid-American Conference.
The Dukes kick off their season on Sept. 12 when they take on Towson. Be sure to pick up your 2025 team poster from the marketing table. Fans are encouraged to remain in their seats during halftime, as we welcome our Purple Pups to the field for a halftime scrimmage.
The season continues on Sept. 26 when the Dukes host Longwood for their Family Weekend game. Arrive early to claim your family weekend t-shirt while supplies last!
JMU returns home on Oct. 3 when they welcome Ball State to Harrisonburg. Stop by the marketing table to claim your bottle opener giveaway.
Help us welcome back our JMU Field Hockey alumni as the team hosts Duke on Oct. 5. Fans are encouraged to start waving purple with their rally towel giveaway. Be sure to pick up both your rally towel and bucket hat giveaways at the marketing table. Stick around postgame to get autographs from your favorite players!
The Dukes will return to action on Oct. 10 when they face Miami (Ohio). Arrive early to claim your t-shirt giveaway! Stay in your seat at halftime to help us recognize our Most Valuable Professors during the halftime recognition.
The four-game homestand concludes on Oct. 17 as JMU hosts Massachusetts for their Battle Against Breast Cancer game. Support the cause and stop by the marketing table to grab your pink bandana. Don't forget to claim your phone wallet giveaway at the marketing table as well!
The regular-season season finale is set for Oct. 31 as the Dukes face off against Ohio on Senior Day game. Arrive early to help us honor and celebrate our seniors during the pregame ceremony. Be sure to join the Halloween festivities as we give out free candy and host a costume contest.
