NUMBERS TO KNOW
- 62:Â Since the Atlantic Union Bank Center opened in the 2020-21 season, James Madison is 62-17 (.784) in home games overall and 22-6 (.786) against Sun Belt Conference opponents. JMU's loss to Marshall on Wednesday is its first to a SBC opponent since App State in January 2025.Â
- 30: Through 16 games of the season, freshman Christian Brown has recorded 30 blocks. That mark currently puts Brown fourth all-time among JMU freshman in blocks, four away from tying Steve Stielper's total of 34 in the 1976-77 season. The JMU freshman record for blocks is held by Andre Nation, who swatted 47 blocks in the 2012-13 season.Â
- 95: Saturday's meeting between Old Dominion and James Madison marks the 95th all-time meeting between the two schools. It is the third-most common opponent for JMU in its program history, trailing only George Mason (97) and William & Mary (102)
LAST TIME OUT: DUKES' COMEBACK FALLS SHORT VS. MARSHALL

- JMU (8-8, 1-3 Sun Belt) held Marshall (11-6, 3-1 SBC) to zero field goals over the final 6:56 and just 38.3 percent from the field, its second-lowest shooting percentage of the season.
