LYNCHBURG, Va. – James Madison track & field completed the penultimate meet of its indoor slate, wrapping up a two-day outing at Liberty's Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational on Saturday afternoon at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
Bria Byrd notched a personal best in the long jump, flying 6.09m (19-11.75) to maintain her No. 2 spot in program history and place second at the meet. Fellow freshman
Mykenzie Britton posted a career-best 55.08 clip in the 400-meter dash, which remains in third place in the JMU record book. Elsewhere on the track,
Sky Bleu Tyson's 8.82 effort in the 60-meter hurdles places her tied for 10th in school history. In the field,
Madelyn Moles took fourth in the pole vault, clearing 3.80m (12-5.50).
