BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – James Madison scored in five events on the final day of competition at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Tuesday inside the Birmingham CrossPlex.

Texas State captured its second consecutive conference indoor title, totaling 126.5 points to run away with the meet, beating out runner-up Louisiana (81). Coastal Carolina placed third with 71 points, followed by App State (70.33) and South Alabama (53.33). JMU came away with 22 points for 11th overall.

Aidan Faith produced a personal-best high jump of 1.74m (5-8.5) to round out the top five in the event, moving into second in program history in the process. Also placing fifth was freshman
Bridget Koller, who finished the 800 meters in 2:16.35.

Nina Dominique scored in the 60-meter dash (8th – 7.49) and the 200-meter dash (5th – 24.06) for five total points for the Dukes. Lastly, the 4x400-meter relay crew of Esther-Saint Germain,
Christine Fitzgerald,
Sky Bleu Tyson, and
Mykenzie Britton took seventh in 3:45.57.
