As a freshman: Made career playing debut as redshirt freshman in the season opening shutout against Georgetown... seven shots this season and two against Richmond... overall appeared in 22 of 23 games... first career start at Virginia
High school and club: NFHCA All-South and All-Eastern Region second team as a senior. All-Beach District as a sophomore, junior and senior. Team co-captain as a junior and senior. Four-year varsity starter and letterwinner. Tallwood won Virginia Beach championship her sophomore season. Participated in the U.S. Field Hockey Assocation’s Futures program six years and Futures Elite program three years. Played in National Futures Tournament five years. Member of silver medal Under-16 team at 2002 National Futures Tournament. Played on gold-medal team at 2003 AAU Junior Olympics and at 2003 National Festival. Her Beach Premier club team won under-19 gold medal at 2004 National Indoor Tournament.

Why did you choose JMU?
The friendly people and the scenery.
What is your major and why did you choose it?
Right now it's Sports management, with a Business minor, and a Human Resource Development minor. I chose this because it has everything I want to pursue in a career.
What do you enjoy most about JMU field hockey?
I love my teammates.
What are your goals for this year?
To maintain a 3.3 GPA and to be a starter for most of the games.
What is your favorite pre-game music or ritual?
Our cheer.
Who is the silliest/goofiest person on the team?
Missy Walls.
Who motivates you and why?
Everyone on the team because we all want each other to be the best we can be.
What are your favorite things about JMU?
How helpful people are.
What is your favorite place at JMU?
The turf field because of the view of the mountains from there.
Do you have a nickname within the team?
Reggy, and Ray-Ray
Which is your favorite team to play against?
UVA and ODU.
What can’t you live without?
Shoes and food.
What other hobbies and/or activities do you enjoy?
Surfing.
