Mike Chatburn serves as the general manager at JMU Sports Properties for Learfield Sports. He works to generate partnerships and sponsorships for JMU Athletics.

Chatburn previously held a director of corporate partnerships position at JMU before taking on his current role with the switch to Learfield from Front Row Marketing Services.

Prior to JMU, he was a group sales account executive for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins organization. In 2010, Chatburn took a job as a corporate and group events coordinator for York Revolution and in 2012 he became the director of sales.

Chatburn received a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and then earned a master’s degree in sport management in 2011 from California University of Pennsylvania. During his undergraduate tenure at Lock Haven, he played on the football team and was also a sports information and athletic department student assistant.
