Ryan Cole notched his fourth top-10 in as many tournaments on Tuesday, leading the James Madison men's golf team to a sixth-place finish at the Mountaineer Intercollegiate, held over the past two days at the par-72, 7,308-yard Pete Dye Golf Club.

Cole finished his second round of the tournament, which was suspended Monday evening due to darkness, at 5-under 67 before closing his week with an even-par 72 to tie for second place at 5-under 211. After three rounds at par-or-better this week, the senior now has a team-best nine such rounds in just 11 opportunities.

As a team, the Dukes finished at 18-over 882, just two strokes behind fifth-place East Carolina and sour behind host West Virginia in fourth. Arkansas rolled to the team title in the 14-team event, finishing the week at 6-under 858.

Freshman
Quinn Tardif continued his solid play in his first collegiate tournament, closing the week with a 3-over 75 to tie for 33rd at 8-over 224. Senior
Poom Pattaropong and sophomore
Shota Ozaki shot final rounds of 78 and 76, respectively, to join Tardif in 33rd at 224.

Alex Henderson closed out the JMU participants in a tie for 50th at 12-over 228 for the week.
