WASHINGTON, D.C. – James Madison women's tennis swept Howard 7-0 on Friday afternoon, the Dukes' second complete sweep of the spring.
JMU (5-2) earned the doubles point over Howard (0-2) with three match victories, as no score went higher than 6-3. The Dukes then took all six singles points in two sets, their third sweep of singles play this spring.
Junior Dylan Owens stretched her singles win streak to nine with a two-set win over Olivia Pelham at the No. 5 position. Junior Kimmy Herrockstretched her win streak to four with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Kindha Nasef at No. 3 singles.
Senior Timea Guibe has a team-best 13 singles victories overall this year, capped by a two-set victory (6-2, 6-1) over Jessica Josiah at the top position.

The Dukes return to the courts next weekend, traveling to Temple on Friday, Feb. 24 for an 11 a.m. contest before opening Colonial Athletic Association action against Delaware on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. in Elkton, Md.
