FAIRFAX, Va. – James Madison track & field set five personal records at the George Mason Last Chance Meet inside the George Mason Field House on Sunday.
Junior
Nora Raher led the way for the Dukes, winning the 3,000-meter run in dominating fashion. Raher completed the race in a personal-best 10:00.06, over 30 seconds faster than second-place Sarah Richart of George Mason. After converting from a flat to a banked track, Raher's time qualifies her for the ECAC Championships.
Senior
Tessa Mundell qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 1,000-meter run with a personal best time of 2:53.68, good for a third-place finish.
Freshman
Sahna Sabbakhan placed sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01.72. Sophomore
Kelly Oler set a personal record in the event with a mark of 1:02.10, good for a 10th-place finish.
Sophomore
Jantsen Wilson significantly improved on her personal best in the triple jump, recording a mark of 11.39 meters (37'4.5") to finish fourth.
Freshman
Emma Hubbard rounded out JMU's personal records with a ninth-place finish in the 800-meter run in 2:27.27.
