QUOTING HEAD COACH STEVE SECORD
"Morgan State has solid doubles teams, and I was glad that Gonzalo and Tate got the win to start us off on the right foot. The other two doubles matches went to tiebreakers, which with the way our guys are playing, I like our odds. Some of the singles matches were battles, and that is what we needed after a tough match last night. This sort of turnaround simulates conference championships and playing tough opponents on consecutive days, which is great experience for when we get to April."
