Six Named to VaSID All-State Academic Team

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Six James Madison student-athletes were recognized for academic achievements during the 2018-19 school year, being named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Academic All-State Team.

The group of Dukes consisted of softball sophomore Sara Jubas, baseball junior Kevin Kelly, field hockey senior Casey O'Donnell, cross country/track and field senior Erin Saunders, men's soccer senior Thomas Shores and swimming & diving junior Bonnie Zhang.

A total of 197 student-athletes from 33 colleges and universities across the Commonwealth were recognized. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average, and be a sophomore or higher.
