LYNCHBURG, Va. –
Erin Babashak and
Bethany Biggi of the James Madison track & field team competed in the pentathlon on day one of the Brant Tolsma Invitational at Liberty University.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Biggi finished sixth in the event with a personal-best 3,275 points. Her mark ranks seventh in the Dukes' all-time top 10 list for the indoor pentathlon.
- Babashak finished eighth in the event with 3,069 points.
- In the 800m run, Biggi finished second at 2:29.32 for her best finish out of the five events.
- Biggi recorded personal bests in the shot put (9.73m), 60mH (9.57) and tied her personal best of 1.61m in the high jump.
- Babashak recorded a personal-best time of 2:36.48 in the 800m as she crossed the finish line seventh.
