QUICK HITS
- James Madison will play its third of four straight road games on Saturday, heading to UNCW for a Saturday evening battle.
- The Dukes picked up their 15th win of the season on Thursday, beating College of Charleston 71-63 and securing a season sweep over the Cougars. Redshirt freshman Terrence Edwards led the Dukes with a career-high 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting in the victory.
- Redshirt junior Vado Morse leads JMU on offense with 15.8 points per game this season, which ranks second in the league. Morse is averaging 19.7 points per game in league play, and has eclipsed 15 points in 14 of 15 conference tilts, including the last 11 games.
- With his 15 points on Thursday, Morse became the first Duke to score 15 or more in 11 straight since Matt Lewis did so 12 straight times in 2019-20. He has also made at least three three-pointers in every conference game but one this season.
- James Madison ranks third in the league with a 46.8% field goal percentage so far this season. Among players with at least 50 field goal attempts, a pair of active Dukes - redshirt freshman Justin Amadi (.638) and graduate transfer Alonzo Sule (.607) are shooting over 60% from the field. On Thursday, Amadi became the second Duke to eclipse 100 made field goals for the year (Morse)
- After missing a lengthy stretch due to injury, redshirt freshman Tyree Ihenacho has made strong contributions since returning to action. Ihenacho tied his career-high with eight assists and grabbed seven boards on Thursday.
- After giving up at least 80 regulation points in six of their first eight conference contests, the Dukes have held six of their last seven opponents below the 80-point mark in regulation, with two of the last three opponents being held below 70.
- The Dukes held CofC to a .194 (7-for-36) three-point percentage on Thursday, the lowest opponent percentage from distance since Virginia was held to a .154 mark on Dec. 7. JMU has held four opponents below 20% from beyond the arc this season.
SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS

SERIES HISTORY
- Saturday's game will be the 80th meeting between the two teams, with UNCW narrowly leading the all-time series 42-37.
