BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – James Madison track & field junior Shelby Staib and sophomore Miranda Stanhope concluded their seasons at the NCAA East Preliminary Round at Indiana University Thursday afternoon. Â
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Staib competed in the javelin early Thursday afternoon where she recorded a mark of 154' 8" (47.15m) to finish 23rd overall.
-Stanhope finished 39th as she recorded a time of 37:04.54 in the 10,000m run in her first-ever NCAA East prelim race. Â

- "We are so proud of what Miranda and Shelby accomplished this season," commented head coach Ron McCown. "The experience they gained this week is going to benefit them both immensely moving forward. Go Dukes!"
