HISTORICALLY SPEAKING VS. MARSHALL
- JMU and Marshall have met seven times dating back to their inaugural meeting which took place in Huntington (Dec. 7, 2010). The Thundering Herd won that contest 67-63, but the Dukes have a 5-2 advantage in the all-time series.

DUKES ROAD TEST
- After completing their home schedule with a 14-1 record at the Atlantic Union Bank Center, the Dukes complete their regular season with four games on the road. The team is 8-2 in road games. They have tied the program record for the most wins in a season (24), which was originally set by the 1981-82 team, led by Lou Campanelli.
- On Tuesday, Terrence Edwards Jr. was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week following a week where he produced 47 points, eight rebounds and six assists while shooting 62 percent from three (8-of-13).
- This was the third time Edwards earned the honor, and the fifth time a Duke was named Player of the Week by the conference this season (T.J. Bickerstaff, twice).
WHAT'S AT STAKE
- Marshall holds an 8-5 record at home and look to snap a three-game losing streak following three games on the road.
- The Sun Belt Conference Tournament picture is shaping up, and both teams are vying for a better spot. Marshall still has a shot at reaching a top-four position, as Louisiana (9-5 SBC) is still within reach. Meanwhile, the Dukes are currently in second but have not locked their spot down yet. App State holds a one-game advantage for first in the conference (12-2).
