HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison men's golf Head Coach Carter Cheves announced the signing of four golfers to aid agreements on National Signing Day on Wednesday afternoon.
The men's golf program signed Blake Hartman, Henry Holland, Charles McPherson, and Finn Watson on Wednesday, and the players will join the program ahead of the 2026-27 season.Â
"We're excited to have Finn, Blake, Henry and Charles joining our program next fall!" Cheves said. "They're all high character individuals and accomplished players. The future of JMU Golf looks bright with these guys helping lead the way!"
Blake Hartman | Dublin, Ohio | Dublin Jerome High School
- Plans on majoring in business
- Likes to play pickleball and basketball along with golf

Charles McPherson | Durham, N.C. | Cardinal Gibbons High School
- Son of Claire and James McPherson

Finn Watson | Arlington, Va. | Woodlawn Secondary School
- Son of Shelly Black and Brian Watson
- Has a sister, Rowan
- Loves spending time with family
