PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. – James Madison swim & dive was tabbed as a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of American for the Fall 2024 semester, the organization announced this week.

To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. JMU recorded a team GPA of 3.58, becoming one of 654 teams team to record a GPA of 3.30 or higher to qualify for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.

Nineteen Dukes saw their names included on either the Dean's or President's Lists during the fall semester, with Riley Bridgman, Maddy Coombs, Emma LaFountain, Abby Maguire, Jess Pryne and Alli Straub all recording 4.0 GPA's. In addition, swim & dive had 18 student-athletes achieve JMU Athletic Director's Scholar-Athlete status during the fall.
