Â
After trailing 1-0 in the third inning, JMU (11-9) stormed back to score five runs in the bottom half of the third and did not look back, scoring in every inning until ending the contest in the sixth.
Â
Senior Jasmine Hall led the barrage for James Madison with five RBI, including a keynote three-run home run in the fifth inning, to put the Dukes in double-digits against Radford (12-15). Hall's five-RBI performance tied her career-high in a single game and are the most runs batted in by a player in any game this season.
Â
Reed Butler was 3-for-4 with an RBI, making it her third game of three-plus hits in 2025, including her second in a row. Lily Romero also knocked in three RBI, bringing her season total to seven, which surpasses her career total as a Duke.
Â
Kylee Gleason, Payton List, Madison Edwards, and Raegan Wall also had two-plus hits on the afternoon, with Edwards delivering a two-run double, putting JMU in front for good in the third inning.
Â
Kirsten Fleet earned her third win of the weekend, going three innings and striking out five.
Taylor Johnson came on in relief for Fleet in the fourth inning with the Dukes up by a run and kept the Highlanders offense in check. Johnson allowed one run on four hits to earn her first collegiate save and the first save of a JMU pitcher in the 2025 campaign.
Â
Abby Bossler led Radford batters with two RBI on Sunday and Grace Bechtol went 2-for-2, contributing an RBI as well.
