Midyear Signee Ariel Avidan Completes JMU’s Recruiting Class

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Head Coach Tyson Thomas announced the completion of the 2025 recruiting class Thursday with the signing of Ariel Avidan, who will join the program for the dual-match season in the spring.

Avidan, a native of Kfar Saba, Israel, will enroll at the university in January as a true freshman with all four years of eligibility.

The addition of Avidan rounds out signing class, which includes fellow freshman Brooklyn Hoffmann and redshirt sophomore transfer Anna Kantor.

"We are very excited to have Ariel joining the team this spring. She's an incredible player from a wonderful family, and her character, work ethic and ambitions will fit into our team perfectly."
