HARRISONBURG, VA. – James Madison women's soccer forward
Amina Bibossynova will participate as a member of the Women's National Football Team of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the European Qualifiers for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, as announced on Friday.
Bibossynova will join Kazakhstan's training camp from Oct. 2 to Oct. 15, where it will play two matches against Ireland on Oct. 9 and Oct. 13.

Joshua Walters, Sr. "Amina, in particular, scored the goal that allowed her country to qualify for this stage of World Cup Qualifying. It is incredible to be able to support her in this incredible moment as she chases her dreams! She also gets to represent JMU and our team, too."
Bibossynova, a fourth-year, has appeared in nine matches for the Dukes this season and made her first collegiate start against Marshall on Sept. 27.
