BOSTON – Eight Dukes scored as James Madison track & field tallied 29 points for fifth in the standings following the completion of day one of the ECAC Indoor Championships on Saturday at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center.

Boston leads the way with 60.5 points through nine of 20 events scored, followed by Brown (44.5), Massachusetts (43), and Sacred Heart (35.5).

Moles highlighted the day for JMU, placing third in the pole vault with a height of 3.76m (12-4) – the second year in a row she's scored at the championship meet. Four Dukes finished fourth:
Nina Dominique (60m – 7.51),
Christine Fitzgerald (400m – 55.78), I'mara Ford (High Jump – 1.63m (5-4.25)), and
Aidan Faith (High Jump – 1.63m (5-4.25)).

Kyndal Turner turned in a personal-best 60-meter dash clip of 7.56 for sixth. Elsewhere in the field,
Madison Greene went 5.52m (18-1.5) for seventh in the long jump, while
Violet Evans rounded out the scoring with an eighth-place effort in the high jump at 1.58m (5-2.5).

How It Happened
- Dominique returned to the track to take second in the 200-meter dash prelims with a PR of 24.07, placing her tied for third in the event in program history with Kaia Putman.
- Fitzgerald's 55.78 performance in the 400-meter dash was also a personal best, moving her into sixth in the JMU record book.
- Turner cracked the school's top-10 list in the 60-meter dash with her 7.56 effort.
- In the 800 meters, Bridget Koller registered a PR of 2:11.83 for ninth in program history and 11th in the competition.
- Izzy Greene (9th – 17:44.31) and Kristin Giordano (11th – 17:59.00) both notched personal-best times in the 3,000 meters.
