NEW ORLEANS – James Madison women's soccer alumna Jamie Swartz has been chosen to represent JMU on the 2026 All-Sun Belt Community Service Team.
The All-Sun Belt Community Service Team is an initiative aimed to recognize one student-athlete from each Sun Belt institution who has shown outstanding dedication to community service.
Swartz (26') helped reinstitute the JMU SAAC 5K Walk to End Colon Cancer, marking the first SAAC-sponsored run at JMU since 2020. With the help of 70 other JMU student-athletes, Swartz helped plan and execute the event that raised awareness and funds in support of the Shenandoah Valley Gastroenterology Center.
Swartz was a four-year member of the Dukes from 2022-25. The former All-Sun Belt defender appeared in over 80 career matches for JMU and played a key role on the 2024 team that won the program's first Sun Belt Championship.
