What do you enjoy most about JMU Swimming and Diving?
The people. The girls on this team and the staff are what make waking up for 5 a.m. practice bearable.
What are your goals for this season?
My goal is to train hard and motivate my teammates to do the same.
What is your pre-meet ritual and/or music?
I’ve got to call mom and dad before each meet, they always know exactly what to say to get me ready to swim.
Who or what motivates you and why?
My brother Glenn, he’s been through almost everything and he’s a stronger person for it. He gives me the piece of mind and the strength to go about tasks I didn’t even think were possible.

The great friends I’ve made along the way, the beautiful scenery, and the delicious and never-ending food

Running up (more like crawling up) the D-hall steps to dinner after practice.
