Longenecker joined the Dukes as the Director of Fan Engagement and Marketing in March of 2022.Â
He is a 2018 graduate of Auburn University and worked with the Football Equipment and Marketing teams while with the Tigers. Following graduation, he worked with the Maryland Terrapins Marketing team for two years, before starting as the Assistant Director of Marketing with the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns in October of 2019.Â
Longenecker was promoted to Director of Marketing and Sales with Louisiana in April of 2021. His accomplishments with the Ragin' Cajuns include setting the Softball and Soccer all-time single game attendance records, increasing the number of Football season ticket holders by over 40%, and achieving two top-15 all-time single game attendance records with Louisiana Football, including breaking the all-time Sun Belt Conference Championship Game attendance record by over 12,000.Â
Longenecker lives in Harrisonburg with his two cats, Jim Morrison and Jimmy Buffet.Â
