HAGADONE LEADS DUKES AT CAVALIER OPEN CROSS COUNTRY MEET

EARLYSVILLE, Va., Nov. 7, 2008 -- James Madison sophomore Mariah Hagadone (Mt. Solon, Va./Buffalo Gap) was the Dukes' top finisher at the Cavalier Open cross country meet held Friday afternoon at Panorama Farms.
She completed the 5,000-meter course in 19 minutes, 34.3 seconds and placed ninth in the field.
William and Mary's Kelly McElroy won the race in 18:47.
Other top JMU finishers included junior Emily Hellmuth (Arlington, Va./Yorktown), who placed 12th in 19:51.6, and junior Amber Lussier (Stafford, Va./North Stafford), who finished 13th in 19:59.2.
