NEW MARKET, Va. – James Madison cross country posted a perfect score of 15 points (1-2-3-4-5) at the JMU Invitational, with the Dukes taking the top six spots, highlighted by an individual title for freshman Anna Pucilowski at the New Market Battlefield on Friday afternoon.

Pucilowski dominated the field with a 5K time of 18:28.8 on the rigorous course – the 11th-fastest time by any female competitor in JMU Invitational history.

Taylor Myers (2nd - 19:34.6) was the second Duke to cross the finish line, followed by Carol-Anne Garrett (3rd - 19:35.0), Ariana Logsdon (4th - 19:45.2), Elizabeth Scarpa (5th - 20:00.9), and Faith Ford (6th - 20:19.6).

Mount St. Mary's finished second as a team with 60 points (9-10-12-14-15), while Eastern Mennonite came in third with 76 (7-13-17-18-21), and Mary Baldwin took fourth with 89 (11-16-19-20-23)

JMU will be back in action next Friday for App State's Fire Tower Project 6K race, slated for 5:15 p.m.
