HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison women's tennis silenced Towson on Saturday afternoon as the Dukes defeated the Tigers 7-0 in Colonial Athletic Association action on Senior Day.
The Dukes earned the doubles point off a 2-1 edge in victories before they had a complete sweep of singles, winning each point in two sets.
JMU improved to 3-1 in CAA contests and 15-5 overall, marking the second straight season the Dukes have hit the 15-win mark. The Dukes have not had back-to-back seasons of 15 or more wins since a three-season stretch from 1981-82 to 1983-84.
Three Dukes stretched their singles win streaks to five or more, led by a seven-match win-streak by freshman
Jona Roka. Senior
Timea Guibe has won six consecutive singles duals, all at the top position, and senior
Rebecca Harris has won five straight.

Kimmy Herrock pushed to a fourth consecutive win with a doubles-point clinching win at the No. 1 position. The duo is 9-7 in duals this spring.
