QUOTING COACH MORRIS
"For the second time in the history of the JMU Cheerleading program, both the Co-Ed and All-Girl teams competed at the UCA college Championships in Orlando, FL.
JMU Co-Ed placed 13th out of 24 teams. I am proud of the hard work that this team has put in all season. Having the majority of this team has never competed on this large scale before and I am proud of what they did. They gave 100% and left nothing else to be done.
The All-Girl team placed 5th in the nation out of 24 teams. A couple early mistakes in semi-finals, were fixed for an amazing finals performance. 0 deductions, and a top five finish for this team is amazing.
We are ready to get back to work and continue making JMU proud of these incredible student athletes."
