HARRISONBURG, Va. – The James Madison volleyball program and Head Coach
Lauren Steinbrecher on Thursday announced four additions who will join the Dukes for the 2025 season.

The Dukes' Class of 2025 consists of middles
Peri Linterman and
B'Lise Bradley (Shaker Heights, Ohio), pin-hitter
Addie Norman (Wilmington, N.C.), and defensive specialist
Shelby Davis (Smithfield, Ky.).
Â
We are so excited to announce our 2025 class!" Steinbrecher said. "With the addition of this class, the future of JMU Volleyball is extremely bright! Not only are each of these student-athletes extremely hard working and competitive on the court, but they also strive for excellence in everything they do off the court, as well. Culture is a top priority in our program and these four student-athletes couldn't be a better fit!"

Steinbrecher on Linterman: "Peri is another Duke who we are thrilled will join us in the Spring. Peri immediately caught our attention at camp with her physicality and strong arm. But it was her cheerful and competitive spirit that made it evident that we had to have her as a Duke. Peri is a fantastic teammate and hard worker who will be a lifelong Duke and we couldn't be more excited to have her in our JMUVB family!"
Â
Addie Norman | 6-4 | Pin Hitter | Wilmington, N.C.
- Daughter of Betsy and Greg Norman
- 3x Conference Player of the Year at John T. Hoggard High School
- 3x All-Conference First Team (2022-2024) for the Vikings
- All-Conference Second Team (2021)
- Played for North Carolina Coastal Volleyball Club
- Plans to major in health science
Steinbrecher on Norman: "Addie is a player that will be able to take our program to another level, along with her teammates, as she trains and reaches her full potential. Addie is going to be joining us early in the spring semester. With her size and physicality, she's going to be able to terminate and block at an extremely high level on the pin. There is no doubt that Addie will be a fun player to watch. I can't wait to watch her develop and pour into this program as a Duke. The sky is truly the limit for Addie!"
Â
B'Lise Bradley | 6-4 | Middle Blocker | Shaker Heights, Ohio
- Daughter of Starr Hudge
- Has a brother, Derrick Powell
- Two-sport athlete at Shaker Heights High School, also playing basketball
- 3x Honor Roll
- First-Team All-Greater Cleveland Conference in sophomore and senior seasons
- Second-Team All-Conference for Red Raiders as a freshman in basketball
- Started playing volleyball during her freshman year
- Plans to major in psychology
Steinbrecher on Bradley: "Sometimes you meet someone and immediately know they are special. That was the case when I met B'lise. She has a maturity and wisdom about her that you don't often see and we knew the moment she got on campus that it was meant to be for her to be a Duke. B'lise's sheer athleticism and competitive drive will help her grow within the sport very quickly. Another player that has the potential to truly elevate our program, we can't wait to get B'lise in our gym and start training her!
Â
Shelby Davis | 5-9 | Defensive Specialist / Libero | Smithfield, Ky.
- Has over 1,400 kills and 1,400 digs in her high school career
- 2x Second-Team All-State (2023-24)
- 3x Varsity Captain
- Mother Jenny Davis played volleyball at Georgia from 1994-96
- Father Erik Davis played baseball at Bellarmine from 1995-99
- Sister Madison Davis plays softball at Bellarmine
- National Honor Society, 3x Academic All-State
Steinbrecher on Davis: "From very early on in the recruiting process we knew Shelby was a perfect fit for our program. Shelby comes in with a tremendous number of high-level matches under her belt. In one word, you could describe Shelby as a winner. Shelby has an extremely high-level volleyball IQ, an impressive serve and pass game, as well as being a very skilled defensive player. Maybe the most impressive thing about Shelby is her ability to connect and build strong relationships. We are certainly looking forward to everything she will be and do as a Duke!"
