HARRISONBURG, Va. – Three James Madison volleyball student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Jaydyn Clemmer,
Miëtte Veldman, and
Julia McNeley were named All-District, which recognizes excellence on and off the court. Clemmer and Veldman were named to the team for the third time, while McNeley picked up her first nod.

To qualify for All-District honors, a student-athlete must maintain a grade-point average of 3.50 or better and compete in at least 90% of the institution's matches OR have started at least 66% of the institution's matches.

Clemmer, a senior libero from Lexington, Va., wrapped up her JMU career fourth in career digs (1,401) and seventh in digs per set (3.40). The Health Sciences major recorded 386 digs in 100 sets played (3.86 per set) to lead the Dukes' back-row defense.

Veldman, who graduated from JMU with a degree in business management, concluded her five-year JMU career fourth in career kills (1,488) and kills per set (3.60). The outside hitter from Daleville, Va., collected 186 kills (2.38/set) while batting injuries in 2024.

As a junior, McNeley tallied 252 digs while averaging a career-best 2.74 digs per set. The communications major played in 92 sets and 25 matches for JMU in 2024, also picking up 28 service aces.Â
