WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Redshirt senior
Kendall Turner of James Madison women's golf recorded the highest finish for a JMU golfer in an NCAA Regional in program history, as she finished tied for 24th at the NCAA Bermuda Run Regional on Wednesday afternoon at the Bermuda Run Golf Course and its par-72, 6,297-yard layout.
Turner (218, +2) climbed the leaderboards every round, finishing tied for 24th with rounds of 73-73-72 on the 60-player leaderboard. Her 24th place finish bested teammate
Amelia Williams 32nd place finish at the NCAA Louisville Regional in 2021.
The redshirt senior finished 2024 with a stroke average of 71.93 in 33 rounds, beating her own school record for the third consecutive season. She leaves JMU as the career record holder in rounds played, carding 144 rounds during her time with the Dukes.
