BLACKSBURG, Va. – James Madison wrapped up play with 11 total wins at the ITA Atlantic Regional Championships, hosted by Virginia Tech at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.

A pair of Dukes reached the main draw round of 32 in Gur Libal and Esteve Agusti.

Libal battled through qualifying with a win over George Mason's Shaharyar Saeed (4-6, 6-4, 6-0) to reach the main draw, where he beat Norfolk State's Dominik Simunovic (6-1, 3-6, 6-3). He later fell to Liberty's Ernst Gouws in the round of 32.

Agusti won his round of 64 bout in straight sets, downing Old Dominion's Felix Obermair (6-1, 6-4), before dropping a three-set matchup with Virginia Tech's Thomas Vesantera Brandao (6-2, 4-6, 0-6).

Also winning multiple singles matches were Harrison Lee, who won a pair of qualifying matches, and Francisco Sinopoli, who won one qualifying match and a main-draw consolation.

Lee and Ty Wunderlich also claimed the team's lone doubles win, beating Mason's Zavan Fahim and Adria Franco (8-2).

JMU returns to action in three weeks when it travels to Winston-Salem, N.C., to compete at the competitive Wake Forest Invitational (Oct. 31-Nov. 2).
