GREENVILLE, N.C. – The James Madison women's golf team took home a fourth-place finish at the Pirate Collegiate Classic on Tuesday.

JMU finished fourth in a field of 15, taking home its third top-five finish in four fall tournaments. In a field of 87 players, junior
Grace Petzold (t-14) and sophomore
Bella Flores (t-21) secured top 25 finishes for the Dukes.

Petzold delivered a three-round score of 217 (+1), highlighted by a three-under 69 in Monday's second round at the par-72, 5,944-yard Greenville Country Club. She opened and closed with scores of 74 (+2), marking her fourth consecutive top-25 finish to start her JMU career.

Flores, who tied for 21st, who managed a 54-hole score of 219 (+3) with rounds of 71-71-77.
Avery Robinson tied for 30th at 222 (+6), with her tournament highlight an even-par 72 in her second round.

Host East Carolina held off a late charge from High Point to secure the team title with a 54-hole gross of 848 (-16). The Pirates also had the top two finishers individually, with Lisa Forss finishing with a score of 12-under 204, which included a second-round 62 (-10).

Rounding out the JMU contingent in North Carolina were freshmen
Klára Sionková and
Emerson Elm, who both tied for 57th with three-round tallies of 229 (+13). Sionkova produced JMU's best round of Tuesday with a 72 (E), bouncing back from a 77 and 80 in her opening two rounds, while Elm managed three rounds of 75-77-77.

The Dukes will close out their fall portion of the 2025-26 schedule with a trip to Norfolk, Va., for the Evie Odom Invitational on Oct. 16-18.
