BLACKSBURG, Va. – James Madison cross country took home the team victory at the Hokie Open 4K on Friday afternoon at the Buford Meredith Cross Country Course.
JMU tallied a perfect 15 points, followed by Hollins (55) and Sweet Briar (59) in the win.
Kristin Giordano paced the Dukes with a personal-best 4K time of 14:22.3 for the top time amongst scoring teams, finishing third overall.
Kate Bradish (14:55.0),
Faithe Ketchum (15:16.9),
Elizabeth Rainey (15:19.5) and
Deanna Baumann (16:15.7) finished 6-9. Meanwhile,
Grace Tate came in 11th with a time of 17:12.1.
