STATESBORO, Ga. – A three-run fifth inning rally for Georgia Southern knocked off James Madison baseball, 5-3, on Saturday night after a lengthy weather delay at J.I. Clements Stadium in Sun Belt Conference action.

The Dukes fell to 14-33 (7-16 SBC) and the Eagles improved to 25-22 (11-12 SBC).

Coleman Calabrese led the way for the Dukes with a 2-for-4 showing and an RBI. Classmate
Casey Smith got the start on the mound, going 2.1 innings with two strikeouts while giving up two runs.

First Inning
Inclement weather pushed first pitch back by five hours, but it didn't stop sophomore
Kyle Langley leading off the game with a double for the second straight night. Two batters later, he touched home plate on an infield single off the bat of Calabrese. Freshman
Reece Moody made it a 2-0 score with a successful squeeze bunt.

Maddux Fleck to give JMU a 3-0 lead after Fleck reached the at bat prior.

A bases loaded walk brought home the first run for Georgia Southern, making the score 3-1.

After a leadoff double, the Eagles used a single into center field to make it a one-run game with a score of 3-2.

Sean White tied the game at three with a leadoff homer, with Nico Senese putting GS out in front 5-3 with a two-run homer.

Game Notes
- Kyle Langley has reached base safely in his first at bat of the last four games. He doubled in the finale of last weekend and both games this weekend while drawing a walk against Radford on Tuesday.
- Langley has now reached safely in 12 games consecutively.
- Todd Mozoki tossed 3.1 scoreless innings of relief, allowing just a walk and a HBP.
