At JMU:Â Completed her career ranked second in assists and ninth in points on JMU's career lists.Â
2008: Team leader in assists and draw controls. Second in conference (CAA) in draw controls and third in assists.
Her 83 career assist total is second all-time at JMU. Selected to participate in August 2007 tryouts for U.S. developmental and elite teams. Conference (CAA) Commissioner's Academic Award. JMU Athletic Director Scholar Athlete. Â
2007: All-state (VaSID) second team. Conference (CAA) all-tournament team. Team leader in assists and third in points. Among NCAA leaders in assist average (17th) and points average (77th). Second in CAA in assists and assist average. Inside Lacrosse pre-season All-America second team. U.S. Developmental Team 2006-07.  Conference (CAA) Commissioner's Academic Award.Â
At Virginia Tech:Â Two-year starter.Â
2005-06: U.S. Developmental Team 2005-06. Inside Lacrosse preseason All-America third team. All-state (VaSID) second team. Led team and conference (Atlantic Coast Conference) and ranked seventh in NCAA in draw controls (3.59). Second on team in assists and points and third in goals. 2004-05: All-state (VaSID) first team. Conference (ACC) Freshman of the Year. School season assist record. Ranked third in NCAA in assists (2.4). Led team in assists and points and was co-leader in caused turnovers. Conference (ACC) all-tournament team. Team’s Rookie of the Year.
High school and club: All-America as a senior and honorable mention as a junior. Two-time All-Suffolk County. All-Long Island 2004. Scored 45 goals and had 60 assists as a senior. Bay Shore won three league championships (2001, 2003, 2004) and was New York state runner-up 2001. Played on gold-medal team at Empire State Games 2003. Also played field hockey, and was all-county and all-division. New York state Scholar Athlete for field hockey and lacrosse.Â
Personal: Natasha Fuchs. Kinesiology major with a minor in business. Has an older sister, Tanya, who played lacrosse at Denver (class of '05), two younger brothers, Travis, a sophomore at JMU, and Brandon, a fourth-grader, and a younger sister, Alicia, a senior at Bay Shore, where she plays lacrosse.
