BLACKSBURG, Va. – Three JMU runners finished in the top 25 as the Dukes placed fourth out of 10 teams at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational Friday night on the Buford Meredith Cross Country Course.
James Madison tallied 101 points in the 6K race, 14 points behind third-place High Point. Liberty came out on top with 30 points as four Flames finished in the top 10. The Dukes' average time was 22:39 while the spread between scorers was 1:36.4.

Meet Notes
- Stanhope boasts two top-10 finishes in the first two meets of the year. Additionally, she's paced the Dukes in each outing so far in 2022.
- Both Garcia and Webb have recorded top-20 finishes in each race this fall.
- James Madison has been solid early in the season with two top-five team performances.
